Round Pegloom Rug
Woven on a peg loom this circular rug has been created using natural-coloured fleece from Orkney's native rare breed seaweed-eating North Ronaldsay sheep, Angora goats' fleece from the neighbouring island of Sanday along with knitted Shetland wool patterened strips and woven strips of Zwartble sheeps' wool from Orkney.

Knitted Shetland wool patterns in strips which have been needle felted onto a felted background. The felted background is from wool of the native Orkney seaweed-eating North Ronaldsay sheep. A fold in the fabric at the back allows for insertion of a dowel for hanging.
