Yarn – Shetland Grey 32/25

  Wool from long-stapled Masham sheep grown in Yorkshire by a friend of a friend.  My friend brings fleeces to Stronsay for me to spin.                                    Plied with a cotton, nylon and silk blend. Two-tone blue and deep magenta.  2-ply. Approx weight:  106g Approx yardage:  83m. NOTE:  Although I double wash my yarns after dyeing there may be a small amount of excess dye remaining.  I recommend you wash your garment separately after knitting.  Hand wash only.
