“Shoreline” Scarf

£100.00

This knitted scarf is made from hand-spun wool of the North Ronaldsay seaweed-eating native Orkney sheep.

These fleeces came from the flock on the tiny island of Auskerry.

The scarf is heavy, chunky yet soft and very textured with rich stitchwork aimed to reflect the shoreline where the sheep spend most of their lives.  It is a hommage to this ancient breed told in the sheep’s own natural colours of white, pale grey and dark brown.
