Curly Shrug
This shrug or hap - to use a Shetland term - is made from hand-spun yarns. These are Wensleydale locks from fleeces of sheep on the neighbouring island of Sanday, yarn spun from the Orkney seaweed-eating North Ronaldsay sheeps' fleeces and Alpaca blended with black bamboo. Extra fine merino, cashmere, polyamide.
Hand-knitted on large needles to show the curls to best advantage.
Natural colours: variations of browns, white, grey.
